~केसर~ = Saffron•(tea)

Saffron is believed to be not just delicious, but also great for the skin. If you have it every day, (*as per recommendation of skin coach) it can give your face a healthy glow. Drinking saffron water can improve the skin's texture, lighten it naturally, and also take care of acne scars and other blemishes.

We @skinstudiobybhuvneshwari recommend having a cup of non-caffeinated saffron tea before bedtime, just like you would drink chamomile or take melatonin

🌸saffron tea :

about a cup of tea packed with the goodness of nature ! Saffron tea is a miraculous amalgamation concoction of health and taste….


☘️recipe 1) Iranian saffron tea :

Take a pinch of saffron.

Add off the boil water.

Add ginger slice (if you want) and brew for 5 minutes.

Strain and serve, with a slice of lemon, if you fancy.

Then top up those strands for another round.


☘️recipe 2) Kashmiri Kahwa:

3 cups water

1 cinnamon stick/ dalchini

1 cardamom pod/ choti elaichi

2 pinches of saffron strands

1 tsp Kashmiri green tea (or any other green tea)

2 tbsp slivered or crushed almonds, walnuts and cashews

2 tsp honey

Take 3 glasses of water in a pan. Add cinnamon, saffron and cardamom pod to it. After it comes to a boil, reduce the gas to low and let it simmer covered for 5-7 minutes.


Add green tea and switch off the flame after 1 minute. Let it sit for 2-3 minutes. Strain the mixture.


Put 1 tbsp of slivered nuts to each glass.

Pour hot drink over nuts. add sugar honey and Garnish with 2-3 saffron strands and serve hot.
